I suggest that all clients come to see me, initially for one or two appointments, with the idea that you are assessing me, to see if I am suitable to help with your concerns, and I will assess your condition to see if we have a match. In other words by making an appointment there is no committment to continue but after the initial appointment/s a commitment to engage in work will be needed.
